London Wedding Photography at 116 Pall Mall

The second part of Gunita and Luis' wedding was the civil ceremony and reception which took place at the amazing 116 Pall Mall - Institute of Directors. The venue is incredibly grand and filled with the most beautiful chandeliers, artwork and staircases and makes a perfect central London wedding venue.

The civil ceremony was an intimate and emotional one and this was followed by the Dhol Players, elite wedding drummers entrance which signalled the start of the celebrations. Parita Patel of Rishtaa Weddings and Events had done an impeccable  job of putting together the custom designed wedding stationary and lots of other beautiful details to really compliment the venue and everything flowed so well.

The evening celebrations included an epic first dance which included a flash mob and a performance from drummers delight which was the perfect way to kick of lots of fun on the dance floor.

Here are a few images from this 116 Pall Mall Wedding at the Institute of Directors. If you missed part one of this Asian/Portuguese wedding then click here to see the religious ceremony in London.

Wedding Photography at 116 Pall Mall, London

116 Pall Mall is an incredible wedding venue in central London. As a photographer, I’ve had the chance to work there many times, and it’s always a fantastic experience. The venue’s grand Georgian architecture and beautiful interiors make it perfect for weddings. Whether you’re planning a small ceremony or a big celebration, 116 Pall Mall has spaces that can work for any size event.

The venue is in the heart of London, just a short walk from Piccadilly Circus, Green Park, and Charing Cross stations. This makes it really easy for guests to get there, whether they’re travelling from nearby or abroad. Plus, there are lots of hotels close by for anyone needing a place to stay.

116 Pall Mall has several stunning rooms to choose from. The Nash Room is a favourite for ceremonies and receptions because of its big windows, beautiful chandeliers, and elegant design. It’s also filled with natural light, which makes it a dream for photos. The Carlton Room is perfect for smaller gatherings or drinks before the main event. For dramatic entrances or stunning pictures, the Grand Staircase is a real showstopper. If you’re planning a large reception, the Waterloo and Burton Rooms are flexible spaces that can be set up in different ways. Each room has its own style, but all of them are elegant and can be decorated to match your wedding theme.

When it comes to food, the in-house catering team is fantastic. They can create a menu that’s just right for you, whether you want a simple meal or something more elaborate. While 116 Pall Mall doesn’t offer accommodation, there are lots of luxury hotels close by, including The Ritz and The Savoy, as well as boutique options.

The staff at 116 Pall Mall are amazing. They’re friendly, experienced, and ready to help with everything from the planning stages to your big day. They work hard to make sure everything goes smoothly, and it’s always a pleasure working alongside them.

For photos, this venue is one of the best. The Grand Staircase is perfect for stunning couple portraits, and the Nash Room’s natural light makes every photo look amazing. The building’s facade is also great for classic London-style wedding photos, and the streets around the venue add even more opportunities for creative shots.

If you’re thinking about having your wedding at 116 Pall Mall, my advice would be to book early because it’s a popular venue, especially during peak wedding seasons. Work closely with your photographer to plan the day’s schedule so you can make the most of the venue’s best features, and think about transport options for your guests to make their travel as easy as possible.
