Penn Wood Amersham Mini Pre Wedding Photography Sessions
Penn Wood in Buckinghamshire is one of the largest ancient woodlands in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is one of my favourite locations for engagement sessions and mini pre wedding sessions.
If you are looking for a countryside location that is close to London but with a more natural and relaxed feel than a city based shoot then this location is perfect. Having your pre wedding or engagement photography shoot in the woods is great for couples that want their images to be more about their connection and personality and the woodland backdrop and quiet location means that we can concentrate on this and have lots of fun during the shoot.
Penn Wood is suited to sessions of either 90 minutes for a single outfit or 3 hours if you want to bring an additional outfit for another look to your shoot. The location is a natural woodland and so there is no changing facilities and is best accessed by car (there is a car park). The nearest tube station is Amersham and the woods is around a 10 minute drive from the station.
This location works really well in the Spring, Summer and Autumn with November being the best month for golden leaves and April-September working perfectly for a stunning woodland backdrop.
